Quinoa kheer is a classic Indian Quinoa pudding. Easy to make, just add milk, boil it and cool it, Enjoy!! Follow the cooking method and make this traditional dessert at home for a perfect dessert experience.

Ingredients: Organic Quinoa, Rock sugar, Cardamom Powder, Nutmeg Powder, Chopped Almonds, Chopped Cashew, Raisins.

Cooking Method:

  • Rinse the Quinoa thoroughly and soak in water for 30-40 minutes. Drain and keep a side.
  • In a deep, heavy bottom pan, add oil or butter 1-2 tsp.
  • Add drain quinoa. Sauté 1-2 minutes. Add five cups of whole milk. Once start boiling the milk turn heat medium to slow.
  • Simmer over low flame about 30 minutes, till the quinoa is cooked, stirring occasionally.
  • Add sugar, and half content of spice and nuts mix.
  • Stir till sugar gets dissolved properly. Turn off the heat.
  • It will thicken a little more when you let it cool.
  • Garnish with other half nuts and spice mix, serve hot or chilled.
